Sometimes the world isn't as boring as it first appears...

Sitting at the airport waiting for Roger. Reading a magazine, whose
title is very appropriate right now. Why? Because the lady beside me
has bitched non stop for 30 minutes about a delayed flight. Freakin
ridiculous. HELLO!!! It snowed in TEXAS yesterday! Plus, it's the day
after Christmas. Can we give the airlines a little break? I should
probably move to anther seat before I piss her off with a smart ass
comment - or worse, hit her.

Look what Mr. Grady Dunn got from his loving daughter. :) This sign is
at Hwy 98 and Ward Rd in case you'd like to see it live. Better hurry
too, b/c I don't see Mr. Grady keeping this sign in public for very
long! His son got him magnets for his truck with the same logo, but i
doubt we'll see them much!

For those of you who don't know the Dunns, they are a family from my
home church in Wilmer. Mr. Grady sells donkeys as a sort of side
project to keep him busy during retirement. His daughter is a close
friend of my mom's (kind of a second mom to me). Donkeys = asses =
fun with words.

Interesting side note... Mr. Grady named one of his donkeys after my
mom. Yep, I know...

The weather lady is predicting a "wintry mix" of sleet and snow tonight
(see the huge white area in the pic). She also predicts that it will be
70 degrees by New Years Eve. Gotta love weather in the South!

Don't know how well you can see these pics, but that white stuff is snow
and ice in my parents' flower beds! OK, so it's mostly ice, but it's
still cool. Closest thing to a white Christmas I've ever seen!

You can't see it in this pic very well, but it's sleeting!!!

with a tree and poinsettias. Luminaries line the sidewalk outside.

My parents and I wandered around downtown for a bit today. It's 30
degrees here today though, and even colder by the river. So this was a
driving tour! Mobile is so beautiful...

Pictured: streetcorner with gas lamp, FBI building, new Mobile Register
bldg (newspaper), train station, Convention Center (my high school prom
was there heheh), cruise ship port (2 pics), Bienville Books, Bienville
Square.

Christmas candy for the peeps at work. Butterfinger bells, peppermint
patties, mint chocolate kisses, and mint chocolate kit kats. The mint
chocolate kits kats are soooo good! I suggest that everyone try them.
You can get them at Target.

Why are u still reading? Go!!! :D
